Japanese dancers at a matsuri in Tokyo, traditional meets modern culture 2009-11-24

This was at a community matsuri a short walk from our home. My wife describes the dance as traditional movements with a very modern twist (rapid, exciting, almost "hip-hop" quality). I had a great time watching all the colors and smiling faces.
