Having Fun 2006-05-15
At the festival (that I mentioned yesterday) I saw this group of young people. I still don't know what they were doing: some sort of traditional "dance" with a super high energy (like techno) flavor. Besides moving and grooving funkily, they periodically shouted in cadence and, once or twice, they jumped. When that happened, I just happened to have my finger on the shutter and took this shot.
In Japanese (Engrish) it was a "shutter chance" (shyuta-chyansu). Whenever you have a great opportunity to take a photo, or take a shot at the right moment, it's a "shyuta-chyansu."
