Sister in Red Cap 2005-12-29

I can never resist the wonderful gaze of a child, especially one wearing a hat like this. I know I said that I'd focus on more challenging shots, rather than cute kid pictures. BUT it's December 29. Honestly, I suspect few people will be stopping by between now and January 2nd or 3rd (assuming that most people who read blogs do so at work...and correct me if I'm wrong). While in Nagano I took a series of shots inside of a friend's old Japanese house. I really like those photos, so I'm going to save them until January 2nd or 3rd.
