Japanese School Sports Day
This is the SECOND of THREE galleries with pictures from a Japanese school sports day, a.k.a., Undo Kai. To see the other galleries, go to the main gallery page (click the link above) and see the "Kids in Japan" section. Every Japanese school has at least one (usually two) sports days in the Fall and Spring. It's a day that brings the school (preschool in this case) and surrounding community together for fun and competition. This Undo Kai was mainly fun with little competition, but junior high and high school sports days can be intense. In this gallery you'll see some more of the kids plus more of the community side of the Undo Kai.
