いつも楽しく拝見しております。
日本の文化が外国人にどう認識されているのか、非常に興味深く読んでいます。
ホームぺージのレイアウトや写真もとても良いと思います。
Ｉｓａｏから聞いていると思いますが、いつも子供たちの写真を楽しみにしています。

the pictures are slightly dark,maybe you could make it brighter by two tones?Your twins are unbelievably adorable!!!especially so in the picture where they're wearing orange.those cheeks are so cute!And I think the shot of your eldest daughter on the path behind your house is beautifully done.Reminded me of some advertisement on tv,fantabulous!!

The pictures are fine, but the text color is too close to the background color and causes me to strain my eyes. I cannot read your blog at the site, only in my RSS reader...

If you could fix up the contrast a bit that would be great.

The photos look fine to me. I'll have to agree with everyone else about the text color though. I can read fine but it would be helpful to make the text a little lighter. :-) And I love your site!

Ah, thanks. I will definately work on the text color. I have considered switching to a white background and black text (more standard). First, I'll try lightening the text and see how that works.

I'll do a trial run with a white background and black text next week and then ask for feedback again. I personally like the "clean" and easy to read look you get with a white background, but I also like how the pictures stand out on a dark background...

My monitor needed just a minor adjustment, but that may result in slightly brighter pictures from now on. Thanks for your input.

About the site setup.
I agreee the pictures look hella better on black or a darker color. So you should try somethings that uses both white and black backgrounds? Maybe? I dunno. I agree about the texts, but I'd really hate to see the pictures on white.

Ok, I've switched to a white background on the main page. But when clicking a picture it appears on a black background. Thoughts?

andy, the pictures look fine. and i visite this site everyday so i personaly feel its set up well. i personaly like to thank you for globalcompassion.com, all the information about japan will surely help me and my quest for the island nation, thank you

The pictures look fine on my mac. And the white background is much easier on the eyes!

If you are looking for a new color scheme it isn't necessary to use a white background, though I prefer that. The thing to look out for is contrast and complementary colors. You should check out http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html as this site will help you choose a great color scheme.
