Odawara Castle Moat, Red Bridge, Guardhouse

Odawara Castle Moat, Red Bridge, Guardhouse 2005-11-17

Here's another photo I took the other morning at Odawara Castle. I also loaded a differently cropped version of the image from two days ago in response to a suggestion.

  • LOVELY!

  • Andy, I was just wondering, what kind of camera do you use?

  • I use a Canon 300D (Digital Rebel). It's a great camera, equal in quality to the 10D but minus some features that would be really nice to have. Minus LOTS of features now available in the 350...but that's life in the techno age we live in.

  • Do you ever use a manual camera?

  • I generally use my camera in manual mode. Is that what you mean?

  • I think edith probably means a non-digital camera.

  • ...oh sorry, that's right, do you ever use a non-digital camera?

  • I have an old film SLR but I haven't used it in a long time. I'd like to keep concentrating on mastering one camera anyway before thinking of others -- and the digital format lets me take thousands of pictures without any worries about the cost of film and developing.
